Inilah Profil JIMMY “THE REV” SULLIVAN yang telah tiada.Meskipun engkau telah bertemu Tuhan,namun disini kami akan selalu merindukanmu.Jimmy The Rev Sullivan meninggal dunia pada tanggal 21 Desember 2009

Lahir pada tanggal 9 Februari 1981 sebagai anak tunggal, dia terkenal sebagai bocah nakal sehingga sering dikeluarkan dari sekolah. Kelakuannya saat remaja makin tak terkendali. The Rev sudah tujuh kali masuk penjara karena doyan berkelahi dan doyan mabuk-mabukan.

Namanya kemudian makin dikenal ketika ia bergabung dengan Avenged Sevenfold dan berhasil menuai sukses. Pada ajang MTV Video Music Awards 2006, grup ini berhasil meraih penghargaan untuk Best New Artist.

Semasa kariernya bersama Avenged Sevenfold, “The Rev” pernah memberi kontribusi dalam penggarapan single “A Little Piece of Heaven.” Selain menjadi pemain drum, ia juga penyanyi latar di grup bentukan tahun 1999 itu. Bahkan, pria yang dikenal badung selama remaja itu sempat menjadi penyanyi utama pada grup musik Pinkly Smooth.

Kabar duka menaungi dunia musik internasional.JIMMY “THE REV” SULLIVAN sang penggebuk drum dari band avenged sevenfold telah tiada.James Owen Sullivan a.k.a “The Rev”,nama lengkapnya meninggal dunia pada usia 28 tahun.Ini merupakan kabar duka yang sangat mengejutkan buat para fans Avenged Sevenfold di seluruh dunia.Band yang hits dengan lagu ‘Dear God’ ini harus kehilangan Sang Drummer James Owen Sullivan a.k.a “The Rev”.The Rev panggilan akrabnya meninggal secara tiba-tiba.Avenged Sevenfold pun berduka,lewat situs resminya avengedsevenfold.com mereka berucap duka:

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we tell you of the passing today of Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Jimmy was not only one of the world’s best drummers, but more importantly he was our best friend and brother. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy’s family and we hope that you will respect their privacy during this difficult time.
